HRT & Menopause Prescriptions
At Women's Wellness Clinic, we believe in transparent pricing and clear options for your HRT treatment. We understand that the cost of medication is a significant factor in your health journey. Below, we have broken down the fees for our private prescribing services and provided an estimated cost for the most commonly prescribed HRT medications, including gels, sprays, patches, and testosterone.
Our Private Prescription Process
We are experienced NHS GPs who are happy to work with your own doctor to take over your HRT prescribing, as is often the case. However, there may be instances where a private prescription is necessary, such as for specific licensed medications (always in keeping with BMS best practices) or when prescribing testosterone, which is not available on the NHS.
We will provide you with a written prescription to take to a pharmacy of your choice. You will pay for the medication directly to the pharmacy, and this price is dependent on the pharmacy you choose.
Gels & Sprays
Oestrogel 0.06% Gel (64 dose): £15 - £20
Sandrena Gel (28 units): £15
Lenzetto Transdermal Spray (56 dose): £15 - £20
Patches
Estradot Patches (8 patches): £15 - £20
Evorel Patches (8 patches): £10 - £15
Oral Hormones
Progynova Tablets (84 tabs): £15 - £20
Utrogestan Capsules (30 caps): £20 - £40
Our Consultation & Prescriptions Fees
We strive to provide transparent and flexible options to ensure your health journey is as stress-free as possible.
Prescription Fee: We do not charge a private prescription fee if the prescription is generated during a consultation. The cost is included in your consultation fee.
Repeat Prescriptions: For established patients who need a repeat prescription without a full consultation, we charge a £40 administration fee every three months.
Medication Costs: The cost of the medication is paid directly to the pharmacy and is not included in our fees.
