Private HRT & Menopause Prescriptions
At Women’s Wellness Clinic, we provide a personalised approach to Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). As BMS-accredited specialists, we offer access to the full range of body-identical hormones, including specialised treatments like AndroFeme® testosterone, which are often difficult to access through standard GP services.
Our Private Prescription Process
We believe in choice and flexibility. We can work alongside your NHS GP to transition your care, or provide private prescriptions for immediate access to specific medications.
During Consultation: We do not charge a separate fee for private prescriptions issued during your appointment.
Pharmacy Choice: We provide written prescriptions that you can take to any local pharmacy, or we can arrange for specialist pharmacies to deliver your medication directly to your door.
Safety & Regulation: All prescribing follows the latest British Menopause Society (BMS) and NICE guidelines to ensure your treatment is safe, effective, and evidence-based.
Our Consultation & Prescriptions Fees
We strive to provide transparent and flexible options to ensure your health journey is as stress-free as possible.
Prescription Fee: We do not charge a private prescription fee if the prescription is generated during a consultation. The cost is included in your consultation fee.
Repeat Prescriptions: For established patients who need a repeat prescription without a full consultation, we charge a £40 administration fee every three months.
Medication Costs: The cost of the medication is paid directly to the pharmacy and is not included in our fees.
